They were quite responsive and polite, but I had difficulty getting calls returned.
I was a pro bono case. He started off well, and was very responsive to me. When the going got a little tricky, he seemed uninclined to continue pursuing the matter, even though I had additional information that could have helped. Even I could see a way around the difficulty he claimed was the roadblock. He stopped communicating for months, then wrote to say he could no longer take the case, leaving me with six weeks before the statute of limitations ran out to find another lawyer.
I contacted Thomas Shannon's office asking for help with filling out a court order requesting my grandfather's death certificate and my father's birth certificate from Onandonga county. However, I never heard back from his office.
