Jon’s connection with Georgia began in 1997 with his undergraduate attendance of Emory University and subsequent legal education at the University of Georgia, School of Law. He excelled in his studies graduating law school cum laude in 2004, the same year he was admitted to the practice of law in Georgia.
Jon joined the Merrill & Stone firm in 2004 because he saw an opportunity to learn from Brett Merrill who started the firm in 1976, Jesse C. Stone who joined the firm in 1986, and the talented staff while applying his talents to make a difference in people’s lives.
In 2021, the law firm has changed its name to Levis Law Firm following the retirement of Brett Merrill in 2004 and the appointment of Hon. Jesse C. Stone to the Superior Court Bench in the Augusta Judicial Circuit of Georgia.
The Levis Law Firm will continue, as it has always done, to provide high quality, effective and cost-efficient legal representation to our clients.
