I hired Elena for an extremely complicated divorce. Without going into too much personal detail here, my ex as good as told me that he would try to cheat the system and boy did he try. He didn’t want to turn over documents. He tried to conceal assets. He moved money around. But Elena and her staff were so thorough and so on top of it though. They called him out every step of the way. They subpoenaed bank records. By the time we got to trial, even his own attorney looked like he had enough. Elena is tough but fair. Save your money, she is TERRIBLE. She couldn't win a case where there was video of the mom prostitution and children on video stating the mom would leave them home alone 10,6,2 yrs old of age over night. One video the kids said they didn't eat and she refuse the information. She also talked me into not going before the Judge with my case stating that the opposing lawyer was working pro bono and didn't want to go before a judge. As if that had anything to do with me. During mediation she agree to everything they put on the table with no push back. Nor did she prepare me for mediation 1st hr was spent doing paperwork that I was paying for. When I mentioned going be for the judge she said find another lawyer. This is after she had already been paid. Go see Jeff Sliz he is much better at law and has a better price.
