If you are in a divorce with a high conflict person, Amy Carter is not the right attorney for you. She shamelessly created a report full of unsubstantiated fake claims by the abusive party and ignored the children that he physically and emotionally abused for years. These dear children have been in therapy for four years and I’ve had to deal with their high conflict, father every day, and they are exhausted and hurt. Amy Carter is not capable of dealing with manipulative people without being manipulated herself. She provided her rapport on the same day that mediation was to occur, leaving no time to address over 90% of her report which was fabricated with lies from the abusive party. Amy Carter should not be responsible for the welfare of any human being ever.

Amy Carter shamelessly ignores the victims of physical and emotional violence, and laughs at the family of the victims. Under her oversight, our dear ones have been in therapy for four years now, dealing with their high conflict, abusive father. Amy Carter wrote a report that was not investigated properly and we’re almost all the information was false and was merely the opinion of the abusive parent. Miss Carter, legally transmit nude photos of victims who are being shamed by their abuser right in front of her and still does not have the wisdom to understand the situation that she is dealing with. Please do not hire Amy Carter if you care about the well-being of a child that needs to be protected from an abusive parent. Please love your children and never hire this attorney.

I was finally granted primary custody, and I cannot emphasize enough how much it had absolutely 0% to do with Mrs. Carter’s work. As a father, I am aware the odds are already stacked against me. Worse, that time period was full with no response or one-word responses to every single email sent. They even forgot to mention they had rearranged a hearing date, for which my ex even drove three states down to attend and my entire family took off work to be there. The lack of communication and professionalism was astounding. I will never forget a moment in which we questioned her about no witnesses being followed up with for our hearing, to which she responded “I feel really attacked right now”. In our particular situation, my children were in significant danger (surprise, CPS didn’t help), and neither did she. This nonchalant behavior and complete disregard for proper communication is very scary when it comes to the thought of protecting children. Thankfully we found the right lawyer after.
