Hired Attorney

I am not only disappointment by the services rendered by Glenn Laughlin, but extremely upset to the point where I have made a complaint to the bar association both regarding his performance and billing. I engaged Laughlin in the midst of a bitter divorce requiring an emergency custody application which he indicated he had the time and ability to do. It took him 48 days to get the matter before a judge. He clearly just thought the matter would resolve itself and is very fearful of appearing in court, even by phone, to the point where he was shaking. His drafting of documents was childlike compared to other counsel, his arguments made in court were timid and unconvincing and his communication with opposing counsel was clearly disadvantaged by his fearfulness to confront anyone. He estimated a bill of 5k to 8k and stated he was an ethical biller. After the bill got to 31k I requested a detailed bill and noted crazy over billing ie 20min meeting with me billed 2 hours. DO not hire!

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
