For nearly two decades, I have worked with Mr. Wyckoff for multiple real estate closings, also transfer of a property to my own name after my husband died. I insist on him to be the settlement attorney when I am ready to buy or sell a property, to make sure my needs are covered. Besides his knowledge of the law, he is familiar with all the workings of our local community (tax rates, when to file documents, etc.) and always warns me of important matters to consider after the closing. Always polite, just a nice guy too. His staff is also very professional and are more knowledgeable than some lawyers I've known over 40 years.

I have used Mr. Wyckoff at least three times for real estate matters.

My niece and I were involved in a real estate closing handled by the Wyckoff Law Firm. As a side item, a promissory note was to be prepared where I was the lender/owner of the note. I was contacted once briefly to go over the flexible interest rate source and the length of the terms, however, was never given a chance to provide input or proof what they had prepared. Each time I tried to interject my thoughts and wishes I was either talked over or declined. I would just call this total disrespect. Clearly, they are nothing but a transactional firm, incapable of tailoring a contract between two parties. Failing to recognize the principal owner of the document. I rejected the promissory note and asked my niece to seek a refund for this item. When people treat you like this, they don't deserve your business.
