Attorney Mark Helwig has served clients for more than three decades, practicing law since 1993 and living in Massachusetts since 1995. From his Sudbury and Framingham offices, he focuses on civil and criminal litigation and regularly takes cases to trial. His civil practice includes personal injury matters such as car accidents, slip-and-fall injuries, dog bites, and negligence claims, as well as wrongful death cases. On the criminal side, he defends individuals charged with DUI/DWI, juvenile offenses, and a wide range of motor vehicle and traffic violations, along with other criminal matters. Mr. Helwig received his J.D. from Villanova Law School in 1993, graduating magna cum laude. While at Villanova, he earned membership in Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi, participated on the Villanova Law Review, and received the Rev. Joseph Ullman Award for excellence in criminal law. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987. Attorney Helwig is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and contributes to the profession as President of the Metrowest Bar Association, a Board Member of Middlesex Defense Attorneys, and an instructor with the Harvard Law Trial Advocacy Workshop.
