About Kevin F. Long

The firm was created to provide an integrated suite of legal services to closely-held businesses, business owners and high net-worth individuals. The principals of Long & Bott, P.C. collectively have over 40 years of experience in the areas of income tax and estate planning, entity formation, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning and representation of taxpayers before the IRS and state revenue departments. We have successfully secured Federal and Massachusetts letter rulings to obtain significant tax savings for our clients utilizing creative structures involving limited liability companies, Massachusetts business trusts, S Corporations and partnerships. Recently we have developed a strategy to transition a business to heirs and/or key employees that minimizes transaction taxes, eliminates or minimizes the need for outside capital and can be used to convert an S corporation to a limited liability company. We are committed to providing close, personal attention to our clients. We take pride in giving you the assurance that the personal assistance you receive comes from years of advanced training, technical experience and financial acumen. To accomplish our mission, we devote a significant amount of time and resources to professional continuing education and state-of-the-art computer technology.
