About Michael Levin

Attorney Levin has been a specialist in the field of workers’ compensation since 1994. He was first employed by Workers’ Compensation Research Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a highly-regarded independent, not-for-profit research organization. At WCRI, he collected data from various states across the U.S. to study how workers’ comp laws were implemented and how they helped injured workers. There, he gained a foundation of knowledge upon which to build his career.

Attorney Levin is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in political science in 1992 and a paralegal certificate in 1996. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 2002 from New England School of Law in Boston, attending while pursuing his career through employment as a paralegal and law clerk with several Boston law firms. He is a licensed member of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire state and federal bars. He is also a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), and the Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester county bar associations in Massachusetts.

Attorney Levin has experience working for both claimants and insurance companies, and he understands how insurance companies function. This is important experience to have when trying to work out a settlement—or determine whether a client is being treated fairly in their claim for benefits. Reaching the best outcome for the injured worker or disabled individual is his ultimate goal. He enjoys helping his clients make the best decisions for their situations. Attorney Levin’s down-to-earth, approachable manner, his thorough knowledge of workers’ compensation laws, and his decades of experience can be most helpful to those in the midst of personal recovery or lifestyle change due to debilitating conditions.

Legal representation can be a positive, life-changing experience for someone who is dealing with a workplace injury or disabling health condition. I want my clients to be confident that I will fight hard for their interests and that, with my representation, they will always be in charge of their own case. I will never take action without their consent, assuring that they fully understand their situation and are making informed decisions that will bring them satisfying results.”
