I went to Mr. Stewart’s office, after my ex husband, the father of my (adult) children passed away. He died unexpectedly (in his 40s) and did not have his affairs in order. My son and I went to Mr Stewart, in order to establish a trust. My ex husband had a small life insurance policy, which our children were the beneficiary. Mr. Stewart advised against a trust, and instead recommended that we create our own individual “simple” wills, along with a few other basic documents. Then the unimaginable happened - my child was diagnosed with advanced cancer. We had to travel, first, out of town, and then, out of state, in order to seek treatment. We went to Mr Stewart to request a copy of our paperwork, as we had given our personal copy to a hospital, when my son needed surgery. Mr Stewart did not accommodate our request. When my son went to the law office, seeking his documents, he was turned away! When I attempted to call Mr. Stewart, he hung up rudely, without providing an explanation!
