aron S. McKinney rejoined the law firm of Shore, McKinley & Conger, LLP as a Partner in 2014, after practicing for several years at Jay-Allen Eisen Law Corporation, Sacramento's only appellate law firm given “Tier 1” ranking by U.S. News and World Report in 2013.

Mr. McKinney heads the firm’s Sacramento office. His practice focuses civil appeals and writ proceedings. He also consults and assists trial lawyers through all stages of litigation; he prepares and opposes dispositive pretrial motions and evidentiary motions, advises and crafts jury instructions, and assists with post-trial briefing and statements of decision.
