Hired Attorney Mr. Peter Smith

Peter Smith was court appointed to handle severe felony charges that had been raised against me. Usually when a lawyer is court appointed you never hear from them and they could care less about what you want. It's just here's the plea take it. But Peter Smith was very different in that HE CARED enough to actually speak to me before my court date and asked alot of questions pertaining to my case. And he was clear on what may happen and what he hoped to accomplish and was very clear about what could happen . He went above and beyond what any court appointed lawyer usually would have done. I will hire him again on ALL legal matters henceforth. Thank you Mr. Smith

Hired Attorney Mr. Peter Smith

Never answers the phone or returns calls. No website, no secretary and no email address available online. Does Attorney Peter A. Smith, of Statesville, NC even exist??? If so he's cutting so many corners that maybe he's also moved to Tahiti for cheaper housing. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hired Attorney Mr. Peter Smith

I consulted with attorney Peter Smith in Statesville, NC to create wills, living wills and powers of attorney. I explained clearly what I wanted to declare in the documents. He reiterated my requests back to me so I was sure he understood what I wanted. We came back the next week to review the documents. Almost immediately, he seemed annoyed with my questions. He began to interrupt both me and my wife repeatedly. One section of the power of attorney was not what I requested. He said because of NC statutes, it was better this way. Then, both the living will and powers of attorney did not contain the declarations I had requested. They were simple forms that I had to check boxes to declare what I wanted. It appeared that he put zero effort into these documents and would rely on me to fill them out the way I wanted. When I questioned this, he became became belligerent and raised his voice. Ultimately, he took all the documents back and told me to leave. By the back door.
