Born in New Springville in 1987, Ms. Tricorico is fourth-generation Staten Islander. After graduating from Staten Island Technical High School in 2005, Ms. Tricorico earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History cum laude from Seton Hall University in 2009. Ms. Tricorico then attended Brooklyn Law School, where she was a National Team Member of the Moot Court Honor Society, Trial Division. In her very first mock trial competition, Ms. Tricorico won Best Cross Examination at the Quinnipiac University School of Law Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition. Upon her graduation in 2014, Ms. Tricorico was awarded with the Judge Doris A. Thompson and Judge Edward Thompson Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
In 2015, Ms. Tricorico was admitted to practice in New York and began as an Assistant District Attorney for the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Tricorico served in the Domestic Violence Bureau and the Special Victims Bureau, where she dealt intimately with some of Staten Island’s most vulnerable victims and shocking crimes. Through her departure in 2019, Ms. Tricorico prosecuted thousands of cases, including homicide, rape, assault, and attempted kidnapping, and successfully litigated jury trials resulting in significant verdicts and substantial sentences.
Following her time as an Assistant District Attorney, Ms. Tricorico became an insurance defense associate, where she concentrated in personal injury, nursing home negligence, and medical malpractice litigation. Since finding her home as a Litigation Associate at Scamardella, Gervasi & Kasegrande, P.C. in June 2021, Ms. Tricorico has been actively litigating a wide range of civil matters, including personal injury, land disputes, business disputes, and estate disputes. Ms. Tricorico is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Richmond County Bar Association.
