we hired Patel to represent us in a family law matter for a hearing. her preparation was haphazard, her strategy was unclear, her presentation was flat and ill conceived, and her appearance at the hearing showed she was ill-prepared to participate and competently represent our position in the matter before the court. We are gravely disappointed in the outcome, and attribute the outcome in large part to her poor preparation and lack of commitment to the case. She should have recommended another attorney to handle our case.
We agreed for a flat rate for taking my citizenship process from start to end but after a month an a half seeing how incompetent, non caring, disorganized and unprepared she was, I asked her to cancel the contract and take only the initial consultation price which was $150 after all we didn't even start the application and she couldn't do anything but complicate my case.
