In a time of emotional distress, he was very calm and helpful.
He was very helpful in helping me get back child support. It was very expensive, but fortunately I did not have to go to court and he accepts monthly payments after the first initial retainer. The only thing I did not like is that any communication with him, cost me and he also charged me for my ex-husband calling him. When I first contacted him by phone, he also did not let me know he was going to charge me for that. But other than that he is a good attorney who was recommended to me.
I hired him for my divorce. It ended with him encouraging me to sign a mediated agreement that 2 different lawyers said was the worst thing they have read, ever. There was NO provision to get my name off of the mortgage. There was NO parenting plan set up. The vocational evaluation on my ex consisted of a verbal report and the only person that was interviewed for that report was my ex-wife! Of course it said she couldn't ever work again! No provision was made for over $100,000 in jewelry that my ex didn't report on the ED sheet. I was told that if she couldn't produce it, it couldn't be added in. Really? NO police report was ever filed, NO insurance claim was ever filed, yet she said it was stolen. I was left paying ALL the bills and getting my kids 10% of the time, if that. He's a nice guy but he should have retired years ago if this is his best work. I've had to pay a different attorney over $150,000 to fix his mistakes!!
