About Shannon L. Norman

Shannon Norman brings years of diversified experience to her practice. She is from south Louisiana and grew up working in her family’s aviation business. Later, while attending school, she worked with international companies bringing products into the states. This combined experience working with corporate clients and people of varying backgrounds, as well as multiple government agencies, is invaluable to her law practice.

A graduate of St. Louis University School of Law, Shannon also holds bachelor degrees in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. While there, she also earned a certification in trauma studies.

Later, Shannon returned to her home state to become licensed to practice law. She is currently licensed in both Missouri and Louisiana.

While attending law school, Shannon worked in the legal clinic at SLU assisting people in various types of litigation, including bankruptcy, employment law, class action suits, appellate work, and post-conviction relief. This experience instilled Shannon with a passion for appellate and post-conviction work, which utilizes her extensive research and writing backgrounds. Shannon has a successful record arguing in the Eastern District Court of Appeals, including a precedent-setting employment discharge case, and offers her appellate services to clients and other attorneys who are facing the appeal of an adjudicated issue.

Shannon is amazing! She really knows her stuff, keeps you up to date on any issues with your case and always returns calls. She always has an answer for any question you have. She and her assistant were extremely helpful and hard working. My case was resolved quickly. I highly recommend her!

Made me a sign a parenting plan in Florida when Missouri lived in Florida for 2 years, and put on that plan that i acknowledged i was a resident of MO for 90 days to signing it and then put my florida address on it when i was not in missouri and hadn't lived there in 2 years. This is illegal and she knew i could not sign that document unless i was living there 90 days prior to signing. then put on the COVER page that i had shared physical custody with him (an abuser) when the rest of the plan shows i have full sole physical and only joint legal. This caused me all sorts of emotional trauma when years later he used the cover page that SHE wrote that was inaccurate to attempt to kidnap our child because she put that we shared physical custody when the rest of the plan states the opposite. Then i asked for money back or id sue her and she made up excuses. so i am now Sueing.

She destroys families and hates men. She literally told a client that she had put an order of protection on to set up her husband by allowing him to see their daughter and then calling the police so it looked better in divorce court. She is known for this and her practices are very unethical

As we were sitting in her office, she had another client on speaker phone. The client placed an order of protection against her husband at the advice of Shannon Norman to help her case in a divorce. The husband did not do anything according to her client and the client stayed her daughter wanted to see her dad and the client did not have a problem with it. Shannon Norman told the client she should ask the dad to come pick up the child and then purcede to call the police and have him arrested so it would make the dad look bad and she could get full custody of the child. This was a good dad and Shannon Norman was set on ruining him. It’s very unethical

If your a woman or have kids do not use her. She’s a racist crazy lady. She’s all for the men, proudly. She will gladly help an abuser with a smile. She claims unless you have video of your abuser beating your kids, not even you, then abuse doesn’t matter. The man who tried to kill me, who hospitalized me, the man who beat on me in front of my kids, she smiled and laughed with and bullied me the whole “mediation” I had to tell her to lower her voice. She’s a basket case. She needs a lobotomy and a new career. Her old ways are a danger to women and children. My children are now in danger because of her ignorance.

Shannon has a great very upbeat, happy and friendly personality. I just wish she cared as much about her clients (who are paying her to literally save their personal lives) as she claims to. Shannon will take the first deal that is easiest for her without caring what that will mean for her client. She is a poor communicator and will most likely never return your phone call. forget about this woman caring about you, she won’t even take any sort of extra effort to fight for your given rights. I know quite a few people that were very disappointed In her services and the outcome of their trial. Don’t trust this woman to handle your future. It’s not worth the risk, pay extra for the best lawyer everytime, especially in today’s court system.
