Cathleen Sykes is smart, knowledgeable, articulate, efficient and over all excellent in representing my best interests during my recent high conflict divorce. I felt safe and protected by her. In all honesty she did the biggest share of the work on the divorce while the respondent was less then cooperative. I would very highly recommend her services to anyone who needs great legal representation! She has decades of expertise with family law and can execute to find the truth and seek out remedies in the best interest of her client. Cathleens tenacity gave me hope to live, thrive, and be happy again. I appreciate all she has done!. If you want a brilliant fighter to be on your side, its Cathleen! I consider her a role model of excellence, and her true commitment to her clients shows, in her caring actions. Ie. putting a stop to the opposing parties tactics that could’ve easily blown my budget out of the water. She knew who the best mediator and military expert to help with my divorce!

Hired Attorney

I will forever be grateful to Cathleen. She stepped in for us and took over a complicated case that our previous lawyer had continuously dropped the ball on. The other parent in this case was breaking the court order and trying to keep the children from us by denying parenting time and phone contact, among other things. Cathleen recognized what was best for the children and didn't write us off because of the complexities in our case. I truly feel like Cathleen "saved us".

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
