I always knew I wanted to be a personal injury attorney. My father, also a personal injury attorney, talked about the gratifying and fulfilling moments helping injured clients in times of need.
About Me: Ryan Bruning
I started this path by attending DeSmet Jesuit High School, where I played football and ran track. I then attended college at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and after Mizzou, I began law school at Saint Louis University. It was during this time that I solidified my desire to be the champion to those in need against large insurance companies. During law school I worked with my dad while he was a partner at Leritz, Plunkert and Bruning. There I learned the basics of the legal system from well-established and experienced attorneys.
St. Louis MO Personal Injury Lawyer
I directly assisted with several large jury trials, conducted numerous hearings and mediations, and, in the end, helped many clients see favorable results. During my time in law school, I also wanted to gain other experiences to enhance my legal education, and so I interned at the St. Louis City Circuit Attorney’s Office and worked at the Saint Louis University Defense Clinic, where I was nominated as Clinic Student of the Year. Although these positions were gratifying and helped in gaining trial experience, I ultimately decided that personal injury law is where I belong.
I broke away from my father’s firm and joined the Page Law Firm in January of 2011, where I was able to focus primarily on serious injury and death cases. I used my experience in the courtroom and knowledge in representing injured clients to assist hundreds of individuals in Missouri and Illinois to rightful compensation against those who had done them wrong.
