Mr. James P. McCune III is Of Counsel with Boggs, Avellino, Lach & Boggs, L.L.C. in its St. Louis Office. In 1991, he received his BA in Political Science from Washington & Jefferson College. In 1994, he received his Juris Doctor from the Oklahoma City University School of Law.
In 1994, Mr. McCune was admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Western District of Pennsylvania. In 1997, he was admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the third Circuit. While practicing in Pennsylvania, Mr. McCune tried in excess of 100 arbitration hearings and bench trials. His practice in Pennsylvania included medical malpractice defense, insurance defense and workers' compensation defense. He briefed and argued appeals before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and briefed appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He served as an arbitrator in the Washington County Court of Common Pleas. He also received numerous court appointments to represent indigent litigants.
Mr. McCune is licensed to practice in the State of Missouri including the United States District Court of the Eastern and Western Districts. Mr. McCune is also licensed to practice in the State of Illinois including the United States District Court of the Southern and Central Districts.
