Made a call to a lawyer of this firm that was recommended, requested of lawyer to 'take a look' at a simple real estate sales contract for a farm and tell me if it contained any red flags. A week or two and a half hour phone conversation later I was stuck with a +2K bill that contained work that was done for another client as well as a request to sign contingency paperwork after the fact. Took me endless hours to analyze the bill and confront them for billing errors and to find changes that were not even requested since I did not receive a clear red line contract. Billed more than referring client as well, without discussing rates. The relationship with my real estate agent was tainted and I would have saved myself many hours by just reading the contract on my own with the help of a legal dictionary. Do not recommend this firm.

Hired Attorney Allan Hallquist

His listening skills need improvement. I had to repeat things several times and he would ask me the same questions over again. He is more of a talker which is not a bad thing....just not when it comes to listening to what your clients wants and needs are.
