We hired Mr. Elster to handle our parents' trust legal case against dishonest trustees. Mr. Elster really doesn't care if he wins the case, even when there is overwhelming adverse evidence. His philosophy is to "split the baby." I learned this when it was too late. When you talk to Mr. Elster, ask him if he still "splits the baby," or will he truly try to win your case. His recommendation of his friend lawyer, Mr. Tom Henderson, to act as our parents' trustee was a big mistake. Mr. Henderson had never been an estate trustee before and totally messed it up and caused great disharmony in our family. Ask Mr. Elster if he was ever had a complaint filed against him with the Missouri Disciplinary Counsel. If he says, ""no," then run.
