I had different attorney when I was ready for him he never called me back. I found Marshal Hoekel online and he I told him my problem he said he just heard my attorney retired. Now god had been guiding me so I feel like he brought me to this law firm. I just met the man today so I don’t know that much. I found him to be very easy to talk to as well as very knowledgeable about my situation which took me 52 years to figure out. He was compassionate understanding answered my questions and made me feel very confident that he will do the best to get me what I am entitled to. He actually went above and beyond what I expected If he wasn’t busy he wouldn’t be any good and I suspect the bad reviews were from people that thought they were his only client and had no personal life. I feel very comfortable even after reading the bad reviews although I will not be contacting him with a million questions anytime soon. I’m sure he will keep me updated

I hired Marshall Hoekel to represent me on a divorce matter. He told me this case could take six months and it took over a year. Marshall did not communicate effectively with me. I had to call him often to get updates on my case. Most attorneys inform their clients on what's going on, and not that the client has to call as often as I did. Furthermore, Marshall moved from one location without notifying me about his new location. Prior to finding out, he moved; I haven't seen are spoke to him in months. When I finally found him he lied like he always does and said he was going to call me. I felt that he was doing this because I’m African American or he just didn’t feel like he had time to take on the case. One thing I would suggest to him is to communicate with his clients because he never called me unless I called him first. I will never recommend anyone to hire him.

All I will say is RUN! Do NOT hire him because you will regret it! He didn't hardly do anything and would not communicate with me. It was a custody case and finally my ex just agreed to work with me because Marshall was a terrible attorney. To have my ex want to work with me because Marshall was so horrible, if you only knew my ex, you would see just how terrible Marshall is.

If you want a snake for a attorney then Marshall is your man. (If you can call him a man) A very BIG man who is very unprofessional; and obnoxious. Looking at him in the court room with his attire that's five sizes to big makes me want to puke. No communication, very, very unethical and just a down right a hole. WHATEVER YOU DO.... DO NOT USE THIS THING TO REPRESENT YOU.
