When you pay someone to represent you, you expect to be treated like a "person" NOT a number or "just another case". His final result could not have been better, but his need to "finish" the case for the money was foremost in his personal attitude and very much unappreciated!
Found the office employees to be Very rude also found Montee to be too busy most of the time to discuss our case. Was not kept "in the loop" as far as what was going on in our situation. I feel that if James Montee would spend more time focusing on his clients and their cases and Less time on Advertising his firm he would be a much better lawyer.
Mr. Montee’s fights harder at collecting his non-negotiable 33.3% fee than he will work on your case. He ignores client’s calls, emails and leaves you in the position to just settle rather than have him to do his job. {para}Expect nothing but delays from this office in following up with the insurance companies or let alone maintain a copy any supporting documentation for your claim.{para}Zero is not low enough to rate how pathetic this St. Joseph law firm’s service really is.
My wife and I hired Mr. Montee's law firm in July 2008 after my wife was hit by a semi in a workzone while setting at a temporary stop light. My wife called his office several times, and never received a call back. In a little over 2 1/2 years we only talked to their office about a dozen times. My wife has been disabled from this accident. When we finished he took way more then 1/2, and we had to take care of everything ourselves. We received about $20,000 when we were told it would be more.
