About Joann Winkels Evenson

JoAnn Evenson, a native of Albany, Minnesota, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota - Morris in 1989. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, in 1996. JoAnn also received a Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota in Constitutional and Legal History in 1992. JoAnn serves on the Board of Directors for the Stearns/Benton County Bar Association and Mid-Minnesota Legal Assistance. She is the past Chairperson of the Trinity Lutheran Child Development Center Board. JoAnn is a member of the Granite City Rotary Club, Forum of Executive Women, Central Minnesota Women Lawyers (Past President), Minnesota Women Lawyers, John E. Simonett Inns of Court (Past President), and the Minnesota State Bar Association. JoAnn is also a Stearns County Master Gardener through University of Minnesota Extension. JoAnn practices primarily in the areas of Family, Estate Planning, Business, Real Estate and Employment law. In her spare time, JoAnn enjoys a variety of community activities, gardening and her kids.
