Laura M. Kystad, Attorney at Law

I wouldn't wish the experience I had with Laura M. Kystad on anyone. As a court-appointed attorney, she demonstrated an alarming disregard for truth, professionalism, and basic decency. Her reports were not only misleading, but in my view, purposefully deceptive; filled with omissions and distortions that did real harm to good people. Rather than serving justice, Ms. Kystad appeared more interested in manipulating outcomes and asserting her own authority, regardless of the truth or the well-being of those affected. Her behavior was rude, dismissive, and often antagonistic. She demonstrates behaviors contrary to what anyone should expect from a person entrusted with legal responsibility. To put it bluntly: Laura Kystad represents one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a legal professional. Her conduct is, in my opinion, a stain on the justice system and a shining exaof what is wrong with it. I sincerely hope others do not have to endure what I went through.

Usually I don't write reviews, but my experiences with this attorney was beyond atrocious! This is the only place where I can vent about my personal dislike of her and express my serious concerns regarding the conduct and professional behavior of Laura M. Kystad in her capacity as a court-appointed attorney. My experience with Ms. Kystad was deeply distressing and marked by conduct inconsistent with the ethical standards and responsibilities expected of officers of any court. Throughout the course of her involvement, Ms. Kystad’s persistently unprofessional actions raised significant questions about her objectivity, accuracy, and commitment to due process. Reports submitted under her name contained numerous material omissions and factual misrepresentations, and by the looks of this review section she has probably done this more than once. My elderly father and uncle are suffering greatly because of her negligence, and that is something that just breaks my heart. I pray for her.

Did Not help my elder brother out of a neglectful, abusive nursing home. She is state appointed. My relative is suffering. I sent photos/multiple documents that weren't even considered. Everyone pray that my brother gets out before it's too late.
