This attorney was selected by the courts to be guardian and conservator for my mother as I live out of state. My opinion and point of view is they were quick to take her money and put her in a poor nursing home (Medilodge Sterling Hts). Whenever I ask for an accounting of how they are spending her money, they give me the runaround. Her house was full of antiques and valuables and they took this stuff and did not say what they did with it. When her house was sold, no mention as to what they did with the money. They don't answer their phones and take months to respond to email if at all. It is my opinion they seem to have a quid pro quo thing going with Judge Schimke as she assigned them and when I complained about the lack of service, the judge kept defending them, even when Mr. Heitmanis lied in court and I pointed that out.
