The two previous reviews were someone who most likely treated the lawyer and the employees unfairly. They were rushing their case most likely due to personal reasons. This attorney was very helpful and knowledgeable on my slip and fall case. He was realistic and hard working period. I came from Detroit to this law firm and had a good experience.
WARNING: If you care about communication with your attorney or about their honesty, this is not the firm for you! This law firm will put you through mental HELL! This law firm violates nearly all of the code of legal ethics for attorneys. I you want an attorney that will diligently represent you, look elsewhere. They do not communicate at all, lie to you about the status of your case, and do not listen to anything you say. If you want information about your case, you will need to call the court itself. Something that could be done in days, takes months. Avoid them at all costs!
WARNING: If you care about communication with your attorney or about their honesty, this is not the firm for you! This law firm will put you through mental HELL! I am a former attorney, so I understand legal ethics and the process of a lawsuit. However, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. I am constantly lied to and told something is done when it's clear it has not been. Worse yet, you have to figure out the lack of diligence by yourself because they will not communicate that they did not complete what they said they would do; they simply Ghost you. I am on the fence about reporting them to the MI Bar examiners for ethics violations. Let me be clear, this type of law is not complex at all but it is all about process and the art of negotiation, I feel like we need a support group to deal with all the trauma we have suffered as a group from dealing with this place.
