Don't use Joe for divorce attorney. He did not tell me about court date. Of course I missed it and he told Joe judge he didn't know why I was a no show. He doesn't communicate, educate, or advise on divorce. He seems to put no effort in helping me through the process .
Do not hire this attorney, stole funds that was suppose to settle a previous case. Totally throws you under the bus, while purposefully racking up thousands of dollars. My case is now in jeopardy agaist me.
I found Joe to be very condescending and dismissive. I was very clear on the simple things I wanted from the divorce which he completely ignored and did not represent for me at all. My estranged was in contempt of court on at least 2 occasions & although I paid to have that followed up there was nothing that ended up happening as Joe said the judge will just take care of it at my divorce hearing. That was today and everything has been put off till March. I was warned this would happen-drags everything out and exhausts people and their finances. Joe does not communicate enough beforehand, does not establish expectations, does not explain things in a simple matter, and you have to know what to ask in order to even get dialogue started and he still dodges some questions or even goes silent. I found him to be completely frustrating, even though I tried to maintain composure in the beginning and do as he instructed. I wish I had had the time and finances to hire someone else.
Joe Kuhl told me to admit to something I didn’t do for it would be easier to plead guilty than to argue a case. My son was abused and he wouldn’t take a stand against an attorney who is now a judge. His counsel has devastated my life. I would have expected more from a fraternity pledge brother and college roommate.
Save yourself the headache and do not hire. Do your research as an attorney is a critical decision you would hate to have to live with the mistake of hiring Attorney Joseph Kuhl. I could go on with examples and my case specifics, but his reviews and feedback alone speak enough to encourage anyone to hire.
