If you're a man looking for a lawyer to represent you in a divorce, don't hire them. I'm going to be straight to the point. I immediately noticed that 3-5 people were responding to my messages. I could message one person, and someone else would respond. It gave me the "Case mill" vibe like they're not giving me any particular attention to my case. I had an office visit that I scheduled with my "attorney," she surprisingly was not available. The lady there was rude, didn't introduce herself, just skipped the basics of human interaction. Last, they told me CS should be between $1300 and $1600 and that I should settle on with my ex on $1300. Since there were so many problems and I lost trust in them, I dropped their office. I showed up at the settlement conference. My ex's attorney said CS should be between $1100 and $1300. In 5 minutes, we settled on $1150. IF YOU'RE A MAN, DON'T HIRE THEM!
Mayra Flesner and Erika Wentzel have no business operating as family law attorneys. Mayra appears to act as the face of the firm to lure in potential customers with her refined sales pitch of empty assurances to mislead customers into believing she and the firm care about their case and will act in their best interest. Once this firm is officially hired, you are then given the dud of the office, Erika Wentzel. She is the most unprofessional attorney I have ever witnessed - since she did not meet with the new client at the consultation, she was unaware of what he looked like so began yelling out his name like a substitute teacher taking roll, all in front of opposing counsel and the rest of the courtroom. After she was done embarrassing her new client and herself, she took him to a more private room to discuss the case and her rationale for the misstep just moments prior was that, "I thought you would be black." Do not hire this firm to represent you for any legal disputes.
Working with this attorney has been the worst decision made in recent years. The quality of service is abysmal and she has no business operating in the family law arena. Mayra has issues with taking accountability and is incredibly untrustworthy. She and her partner have scammed me out of almost $10,000. They present themselves as competent attorneys but they have done nothing but cause issues in the case they were hired for, resulting in an incredible amount of unnecessary stress and anxiety.
Erika cannot follow simple instructions in order to appropriately represent her clients. She has a difficult time taking any kind of criticism and will not take accountability for her actions. She is a liar and incredibly unprofessional and should not be representing anyone in a family law dispute. Upon first meeting her, she told us about an inappropriate sexual dream she had about opposing counsel, which I believe she also shared with other court personnel nearby.
They’re a complete joke! Especially Josie. Save your money find another law firm that will work for you. They’ll threaten to withdraw from your case a month after taking $1600 from you. You can’t let them know you don’t feel like they’re representing you the way we feel the should be or they’ll withdraw instead of asking you what you feel they could be doing to help your case. I don’t feel they actually looked into the stacks of paperwork my sister gave them. They won’t actually look into your situation and they’ll side with the other party. Reading more recent reviews I should have known better because those reviews are very similar to mine with paying thousands and not getting the service that was expected and threatening to withdraw very quickly. Josie only got her degree as an attorney a month ago and they’re all freaking clueless. Save your money find someone that will actually help you and not waste your time and hard earned money
