I was very pleased to have an attorney that took care of my daughter's best interests. She was very reliable and never missed a call or email. I would most definitely recommend Cynthia to anyone who has children. She not only cares for the children but the parent as well.

Cynthia only wants money and to win. She is part of “Kids for cash” and Pay to Play” She is unprofessional, untrustworthy, without a soul, and has knowledgeable about law but uses For her gain. She should not be around children at ALL!! She DOES not have the best interest in the child.

Please believe the reviews. She is horrible or extremely biased towards the mom. I requested a GAL and she did absolutely nothing. My own attorney said he would never have her as an GAL again. Unfortunately, zero is not an option so I had to go with 1.

When I read so many negative reviews, I could potentially chalk a lot of those up to sour grapes, however, I personally experienced all of the feedback shared here, in my one case. After reading these reviews AND noticing that the predominate amount of negative reviews were posted at the same time as my case was still going as well, leads me to believe that Mrs Albin allows for her role as a GAL to be marginalized by the sheer volume of cases she has opted to take on. This led to poor communication, unpreparedness at status conferences, double-standards abound, lack of acknowledging hard evidence and instead basing big decisions on perception vs reality, and above it all, sheer negligence in a role that was in dire need of a GAL that was capable. This allowed my case to go on for far too long with zero value provided by Mrs Albin. She met my child once for 10 mins and made little effort to get to know me whatsoever. Grossly inco and should not be allowed as a GAL ever.

I do not recommend. This woman is terrible human being. She only cares about money, nothing else. She doesn’t even care to hear both sides of the story after she forms her opinion of who she likes better. She choose the worst possible profession for personality type. You would think a GAL would be required to care about kids at least a little bit… but this woman is 100% money driven.

If zero stars were an option I would have chose that. 1 star is too kind. I am fully aware that people post negative reviews when they feel things haven’t gone their way. This woman has absolutely no business as a guardian ad litem. She forms opinions too quickly and fails to acknowledge other detrimental facts. More importantly she is extremely lazy and uninterested in coming up with any solutions while not refraining from making custody recommendations. Never in my 30 years in the professional world have I ever experienced someone with the lack of qualifications or wherewithal leading to such poor outcomes. She needs to be a paralegal at best. If you have any hopes of justice and equality, run do not walk away from this woman.

ZERO STARS ... RUN! She will ignore solid evidence and form opinions based on who has the most money in the case. She will bully! She pressures and threatens to take custody away in order to settle a case. Run as if your children’s lives depend!

Cynthia was a court appointed mediator for a Contempt of Court & Motion to Modify case that I had to bring against my ex-wife due to multiple & repeated violations of our divorce decree regarding our children. Cynthia spent very little time with my children nor explored their needs in regards to co-parenting. She never examined the contempt facts that were clearly outlined by myself through court records nor did she ever look to assist in resolving the issues or help in making recommendations as to how to safeguard against future violations. She touted herself as experienced in such matters but never offered any solutions which would have protected both parents and more importantly the children's best interests towards co-parenting. I would not recommend her in any capacity when it comes to cases involving children.

Cynthia Albin does not care what the best interests of any children are. With solid evidence she will still follow the money trail. Strong warning. Stay away from this attorney and request another GAL immediately if appointed with her.

I would not recommend Cynthia Albin. I never write reviews but this cost me so much money and I no have a depressed abused kid, so I have to say something. Please if you love your kid and you want the best for them do not hire Cynthia. She doesn’t care what the child wants and will tell you that as she did to me. My poor kid will never be the same.
