About Bert Fulk

Bert graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. During his time at SEMO, Bert served his fellow students as a Student Government Senator, as a Vice President on the Inter Fraternity Council, and as Continuing Educator for the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. For his accomplishments, Bert was awarded the Most Outstanding Freshman Award and the Most Outstanding Sophomore Award the very next year. During his time at St. Louis University School of Law, Bert was a co-owner, agent and general counsel of Platinum Sports and Entertainment Management. Bert learned his aggressive style of representation by negotiating contracts on behalf of professional athletes. After graduation, Bert entered private practice and began representing clients in criminal, civil and family law matters. Bert takes seriously the idea of the "practice" of law and devotes time to understanding the constant changes in our laws. He prides himself in counseling his clients and focuses on communication. Bert also takes time to mentor younger attorneys to help advance the legal field.

Bert enjoys spending most of his free time with his wife, Sara, and their two boys, Harrison and Carter.

Don't let 1 mistake define who you are. Bert Fulk was excellent, professional, communicative and knowledgable in handling my case that dragged on for over a year. I found myself in a felony case and was blessed to find Bert Fulk to represent me. I paid a very reasonable flat fee and never had to appear in court. He kept me informed on the status of my case and gave excellent advice that has allowed me to put my situation behind me and start to move forward. He never made me feel stupid and always treated me with respect. The representation that Bert Fulk provided was priceless. Fortunately, this is the only time I needed a lawyer and finding a lawyer who is honest, straightforward and compassionate is a rarity, but that's who Bert is! I recommend him without reservation because he knows the law! ONE mistake and/or bad decision should not define who you are!

I hired Bert for a time-sensitive matter. I was surprised he was so thorough in asking all of my goals. Like I said, time was of the essence, and Bert and I were in constant contact for a couple of weeks. He did a great job for me.
