Anthony Friedman rushed me to a mediated settlement agreement conference without retaining an expert witness to give testimony to the cause of my injury and the damages as a result. We did not have any case theory, no valuation metrics to substantiate a demand amount. At the time Anthony Friedman suggested that we try mediation he said that we had one million dollars to work with. However, because we went into to mediation with absolutely no negotiating leverage the defense put no more than $40,000 on the table. The mediation was of course, a failure. Four days later Friedman left the law firm he was working at and turned the case over to a junior associate that had no prior trial court experience. --- It was a conflict of interest and client abandonment.
