So disappointing that during a client's most stressful period - dealing with estate closure - the attorney is uncommunicative, not diligent, and incompetent (all supposedly ethics of the Lawyer's creed). 18 months into our family's efforts, we still lack any progress in conclusion of the case. There are no disputes or contests to the will - the attorney John Juergens has just failed to appropriately represent us. Twice we have had to contact the Clark County Court because his office failed to return calls - not for days, but weeks & weeks. He showed up at what was to be the final hearing, having forgotten the required file. Upon calling his law admin, she said it was available, and he simply failed to take it with him. It is not just the prolonged case, but the hours spent taking time off work, siblings traveling from out of state and stress from having to revisit the passing of our mother. Spare yourself the grief - hire a lawyer who is trustworthy and actually will do his or her job.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
