Gilbert M. Levine, the visionary founder of our firm, established the practice over 25 years ago. In its initial stages, the firm comprised solely of Gil and a part-time assistant. With foresight and determination, Gil played a pivotal role in the organic growth of the firm, expanding both the number of attorneys and the diverse disciplines that constitute our practice.
Gil embarked on his professional journey in public accounting, where he provided strategic counsel to individuals and companies on a broad spectrum of tax, business, and transactional matters. His exceptional aptitude led to a swift rise, achieving the position of partner within three and a half years at his first employer. Opting for a career shift, he pursued law school in the evenings, joining a prominent regional CPA firm. Over the ensuing years, Gil ascended to the role of Senior Tax Partner. Evenings dedicated to further education resulted in him earning a Masters of Law in Taxation, paving the way for his transition to the practice of law.
A graduate with a B.S. degree in accounting from Lehigh University, Gil achieved academic distinction when he received his Law Degree Cum Laude from New York Law School. Further enhancing his skills, he obtained a Masters in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Gil's commitment to knowledge dissemination is evident through his extensive contributions to the legal and accounting communities. A prolific writer and speaker, he currently conducts seminars for distinguished institutions such as the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the New Jersey Society of CPA's, and various other professional business organizations, including the Marjess Lectures and The Bergen County Chapter of CPA Society. Through these engagements, Gil continues to share his wealth of experience with professionals seeking insights into the complexities of tax, business, and legal matters.
