I went with Groce and DeArmon because they had so many positive reviews. That was not my experience. The whole process was very disorganized. They were uncommunicative, unresponsive, and anything but positive to work with. I had never filed bankruptcy before so I had general questions about how the process works through out my experience. They told me "I don't know" so many times but then said "this is something we do every day" when I questioned them. They repeatedly lost paperwork I would submit to them so I'd have to resubmit paperwork several times which also caused delayed in filing my case. Also I followed their advice regarding on how I handle my creditors during the process which led to me paying Groce and DeArmon additional fees in the end. Money I could've saved if I ignored their advice. Finally they couldn't read the paperwork correctly. At one point I was sitting with Shari pointing to her where on each paper it said the information she was looking for.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
