With a minimum of time spent in court, but with a straightforward,, good discussion at Attorney Costello's office beforehand, I came to court well-prepared and won my case. Costello is very good with flawed cases and/or clients. He is legally brilliant, knowledgeable in a wide breath of law-- especially defense -- greatly efficient, easy to pay his fees, very theatrical in Court, and "client-protective" as an advocate in dending people against criminal-offense charge. (You can get sound initial advice for free.) Law Assistant Julie is very kind and helpful at explaining payment arrangements.
While he is a kind and gentle person, he failed to show up at court causing a default judgement to be entered, at the reconsideration hearing he showed up entirely unprepared. He took over on calender year to file an Emergency order of protection. He has minimal support staff. I heard at one time he was one of the best in Illinois but illness and age to mine and my sons regret have taken their toll and as a result of his laxity my son continues in a household with a sex offender.
