About Andrew Rankin

When faced with the hard times and decisions that come with a family law matter, the most comforting aspect is having an attorney that cares about the situation and how the best way it can be handled. Andrew Rankin always has the best interest of the client in mind, and manages the family law situation with authentic care.

Drew is originally from Highland, Illinois. Drew is a Partner at Stange Law Firm, who manages the East Region of the Firm. Drew has been with Stange Law Firm since 2015.

Drew obtained his Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University. After college Drew worked as a professional pilot and flight instructor where he worked hand in hand with pilots and student pilots. Drew then went on and earned his Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois. After law school, Drew gained experience working for another law firm in Illinois and the Office of the State’s Attorney for Madison County, Illinois. Recently, Drew completed mediation training and can now assist clients with mediation in their matters. Thus, you can be sure that Drew has the knowledge to help you through your family law case.

Drew was named a Super Lawyers Honoree for Family Law by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine for 2025. This is a prestigious honor that recognizes only 5% of attorneys in the state of Illinois. Drew was previously a Rising Stars Honoree for Family Law by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine in 2020, which recognizes no more that 2.5% of attorneys in the state of Illinois. Additionally, Drew has been “Lead Counsel Verified” for Family Law since 2016. When not helping his clients, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.

Hired Attorney Andrew Rankin

Mr. Rankin is professional and honest. He is great about giving all legal options and possible outcomes even if they are not exactly what you as the client want to hear. He is tenacious and never stops fighting for his client. Mr. Rankin has continued to work with me on my case, making a 1.5 hour commute to finish what he started with me. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of his service.
