This attorney and his paralegal have appalling communication and customer service skills.I sought the services of Martin Attorneys having had to flee from my ex husband due to domestic violence.I was vulnerable because of this and also being from the UK did not know the US legal system.I felt that Stephen Fisher was rude and things were not done in a timely manner.. My case dragged on for a year and i had to get my DV advocate involved.He is now withholding my check from the divorce!
Stephen is very slow to respond to anything. Whether it be emails, phone calls, or filings. If you want to win you should use a different attorney. If you want someone who will drag their feet and charge you for every penny you have Stephen is your guy.
I first came to Stephen for what he assured me was a simple case, but has actually turned into a nightmare. Stephen doesn't return any phone calls or emails, unless it has to do with invoices/ payments. The initial cost the told me has now tripled without any real outcome. He has drug my case out without actually helping me in any way. Actually he has done more to help my ex and his lawyer than he has me. Definitely would never recommend this firm to anyone who seeking actual help.
If you are seeking to have your case done in a timely manner with this lawyer or his current law firm Holly Martin and Associates forget about it. I email the lawyer directly..no response. I email the paralegal directly...no response. I call the law office...its like pulling teeth to get anyone to call you back! My case is one that is complicated and simple. He doesn't seem to ever know what he is talking about and never keeps me informed about anything...run away...run very fast away!
