Kelly Sullivan joined the Strong Firm as Senior Counsel and will concentrate her practice on civil litigation and labor and employment law. Kelly and her family recently relocated to The Woodlands to be near Kelly’s family. Prior to joining the Strong Firm, Kelly practiced law in the Philadelphia region for the past 21 years. Most recently, Kelly served as General Counsel to a national staffing referral agency headquartered outside of Philadelphia. Prior to her general counsel role, Kelly held an Of Counsel position in the Labor and Employment practice group at the Philadelphia firm Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel. Before joining Obermayer, Kelly was a Partner at the firm McNichol, Byrne & Matlawski in the suburbs of Philadelphia where her practice focused on civil litigation, labor and employment, municipal law and zoning and land use. Kelly graduated Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1997. After earning her undergraduate degree, she worked in the financial services industry prior to earning her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Villanova Law School in 2001. While attending law school, Kelly was an active member of the Public Interest Fellowship Program and worked diligently to raise funds to support law students summer work in various public sector and pro bono areas. Throughout law school, Kelly worked in the Delaware County Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Office. Following graduation from law school, she joined the District Attorney’s Office and honed her trial skills as a trial team Assistant District Attorney.
Kelly entered civil practice in September 2004 and since that time has provided various government, corporate and private clients with dedicated representation. When not working, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and dog, reading a good book and spending time outdoors.
