German and German, PLC is a law firm with an office in Spring Lake, MI. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing state government law, federal criminal defense, drunk driving and 6 other areas of law.
Attorney took a long time to get back to us. she had us do a lot of the leg work instead of her. They were expensive. She tried to sway us to much to do things how she would have....instead of what we wanted.
I retained Robert German attorney-at-law for a case where all monies were paid in full. After the final decision was rendered by the judge, which was not to my expectation considering the plea was not followed by the judge or the P.A., my lawyer contacts me and says that there is something more he can do if I can pay him 5k. I told him I had already paid him over 25k and would only be willing to pay half $2500. I paid it and 6 mos. and no return calls or emails. 100% unresponsive.
Robert German’s firm was paid for him to perform a Service that has not been rendered. He and I did have a discussion (after the payment) some time ago (years), he told me as-soon-as/once the relevant law was revised/changed by the legislator and signed by the governor (signed on 12Oct2020) that he would perform the service. Recently, I have asked if any additional information is needed and to be given a timeline for completion. In this regard beginning on 17Oct2020, I have left messages with the receptionist, in/on his voice mail, the firm’s general voice mail box, sent emails to him and another attorney at his firm (his wife). I have not received a response. In my message via the receptionist, I have asked for my money to be returned. To date, I have not received any amount or an invoice for services rendered. All that was needed was an acknowledgement and an idea of the timeline going forward. The “ghosting” (lack of response) by him and his firm is unprofessional.
