They took a long time to research the matter. They did advise us to drop the lawsuit and stated we had come in too late in the process for them to help us. They were very upfront and charged us only for the work they did. This turned out to be a good decision.
I was in need of an attorney for a wrongful termination case at a daycare in Sibley, IA. I talked to Mr. Scott as soon as I was let go. He asked that I send the daycare procedure and protocol book, which I did. I made several attempts via email and phone to talk to Mr. Scott after my original contact. I told him I would provide a retainer for his services and would like him to defend me in a case against the daycare. I did not hear another word from him. I've sent him multiple documents to support my case, and still no response. I was in a very stressful situation and knew immediately that I was terminated without cause. I was hoping Mr. Scott would talk me through my options, but he couldn't even bother to return my calls or emails. I would tell people to run away from this man as he does not care about his clients.
