Leslie talked a big talk in our meetings about what could be done but during mediation all that went out the window. All of a sudden, what she said we could do/get was no longer an option. Things that she initially said would work in my favor, she became totally against in mediation. She literally laid her head down in mediation and I was just discussing things with the mediator. She was not involved in negotiations or fighting for me. She does not know how to put a lien against property. When i found out she did not do this, she said she would handle. All she did was send the decree to the county. This is not how you do a lien. I had to pay another attorney to do it properly. There is far more. I feel she just wants a quick settlement with as little effort as possible. Attorneys and professionals roll their eyes when I mention I used Leslie Barrows due to what they have heard. Don’t trust the positive reviews because Jeff Sanford gave her 5 stars and that is her husband.
Review: I had an extremely disappointing experience with this attorney. She represented my husband and failed to fulfill her responsibilities. Not only did she neglect to carry out the necessary tasks, but she also consistently sent us exorbitant bills without any justification. We found ourselves constantly reminding her to complete even the simplest of tasks. It is important for others to be aware of this attorney's lack of professionalism and competence. I would strongly advise against seeking her services.
