POV: I have the continuing; apparently perpetual, misfortune of being victimized by this corrupt+ firm. If you need a "shady" attorney, allegedly in cahoots with the court, Susan L. Winters of Leikin, Ingber & Winters is your "A"-lister.

This attorney and her associates are in the practice of the unethical practice of law. They received a default judgment on a collection that they had been collecting on at the wrong address for over two years. Their employees yell and scream at you in order to try and intimidate you. This is a pathetic way to make money and they will be held accountable by those who see what they are doing.

Ms Winters' "law firm" is basically a bill collection agency and described online as a "collection mill" even when they try to cover as a reputation law firm. Terrible to work with as they are rude and unprofessional and in my opinion, deceptive and dishonest. They do not provide progress or balance alerts, even when asked as they don't want to expose the exorbitant amount of interest that they charge. I haven't seen a review of Ms Winters at her firm that generated anything above a one star rating. My guess is because there is not a zero star rating. I'm not sure how they can expect any kind of respect when they offer none on their own.

Worst law firm I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. There is zero excuse for the financial staff to speak with utter disdain to clients. Owing money does not earn being treated like subhuman scum, and don't attempt to contact this "attorney" as apparently she is the poster child for bad lawyer jokes and reputation. I have surmised she is nothing but the proverbial ambulance chaser who relishes in gaining her earnings from people she views as well beneath her. Her financial manager fits her name - she is a true Karen in all the ways that name has become an insult. She is rude, nasty, trashy, and will openly brag about how she has treated people like rotted garbage for 30 years. I have let all levels of UofM Sparrow financial know that continued dealings with this firm will start losing patients if, heaven forbid, they end up in temporary financial crisis. Do better, act human, but for now, I hope you get smacked hard by Karma at some point, you piles of slime mold. Zero stars.

They should offer stars for extremely awful. Absolutely the worst of the worst!! Beginning with Trina who over-talks you and is insanely rude and unprofessional. I call them and have to leave a message during office hours. She tells me that I didn't because they dont have a message from me. (I know what I did and didnt do). Then I tell her to let me call her back with the information, she tells me to leave a message. I said I tried that and you never returned my call. I want to talk to you. (except today). We eat lunch at 12:00 so you probably missed us. NO, I don't eat lunch at 12, so that's not when I called. Unbelievable.........

Got a letter in the mail telling me i owed mi heart pca 1082.00 from 2010. Well this Slime ball of a lawyer has never sent me and notices that i even owed any money hospital says i owe 0.00 to them but Winters was able to file it anyways with the 34 district court and start a garnishment for 2022 now she is stealing my state taxes all done without my knowledge or any notification of the debt. What kind of dirt bag doesn't even notify the debtor when they would have to be sitting on their info from all this time? You might be able take away my money but you'll always be a jack off, you bunch of jack offs!!

This group of attorneys are not very polite, and not very professional. they speak down and rude to clients. The women working there named Barbara hung up on me for no reason. She also spoke very rude to me. Even though this is a debt collection agency, everyone deserves a little respect. They do not know my story or why I couldn't pay my medical bills. I have always paid the law firm on time and did not deserve to be disrespected the way that they did.

This law firm or debt collector is totally crroked and unsensatuve to the public. I was making payment directly to thier client then i get a garnishment notice. I called both involved and the law firm didnt care or investigate the matter. Fir weeks i was garnished put me and family in a big bind. I worked OT to try to get back on track but the more i made the more they took. Finally got it back on track as agreed but no refund or apology for the error. They are bad people money hungry

Everything they do is underhanded. They give no warning or try to work with you, they go straight to sueing you for payment. Set up a payment plan, through the court, they accept, I make payments. The next thing I know I'm getting court notices for garnishment of tax returns, they claim I've made no payments. I have proof!!! Won't return phone calls or respond to mailed correspondence. I can't afford a lawyer. These people are scum.

Straight up FDCPA violators of the worst kind. After stating the mini miranda and telling me they are collecting a debt I began explaining my dispute and was then told "oh no we are the law firm we don't deal with disputes or anything" as to say we don't follow the fdcpa we aren't debt collectors but the must state the kind miranda and identify themselves as debt collectors. Rest assured, I reported them to the federal trade commision.
