Hired Attorney

Months ago, I contacted Kenneth regarding an attorney malpractice case involving a botched Veterans Administration claim for survivor benefits for my mom. He had been recommended by another attorney and was willing to do this on a contingency basis. The attorney's filing errors had cost me $70k+ benefits for my mom's nursing care. Although it was a relatively small claim compared to Kenneth's typical caseload, he offered to review my files and then repeatedly promised to reach out to this attorney to put him on notice of the impending lawsuit, to contact his liability insurer, etc. The first few times I tried to follow up, he said he had been on vacation, then a personal emergency, but repeated his promise to initiate contact with the attorney in question. In the past 3 weeks, I've tried to contact Kenneth by email and phone- absolutely no response. To the best of my knowledge, he has taken no steps in my case. Very disappointing.
