Contracts
Failed to notify defendants. Disappeared for 8 months, till contacted by the State Bar. Found to have committed malpractice and reprimanded by the State Bar. Agreed to return the fees paid $14,000...then did not return them and told me to sue him. Please listen to him confess to committing malpractice by searching his name on youtube.

Hired Law Firm
Mr Shawn Bugbee abandoned us. He failed to notice defendants. He simply vanished for 6 months, then called 1 time and apologized after the GA Bar became involved then vanished again. He was investigated by the Bar and received a Bar Reprimand. He agreed to return the $14,000 in fees paid to him and to try to restore the case. He did not return the fees and said we could sue him. He withdrew as the "attorney of record" without telling us,hearings were scheduled that we did not know about.
Litigation
Mr Bugbee missed legal dates, failed to notice some defendants. He non-responded to inquiries for 10 months, until a bar grievance was filed. He agreed to return fees paid, then failed to do so. He was investigated and reprimanded by the State Bar of Georgia.
Contracts
After he was retained to represent us, Mr Bugbee simply vanished for nearly a year. He had dismissed and refiled our case, then failed to notice 3 of the 4 defendants, causing the case to be lost. His response after a Bar complaint was filed was that he was mentally and emotionally unable to function. He agreed to return the $14,000 in fees paid to him, then he refused to do so, and invited us to sue him. After an investigation The Georgia Bar issued a private reprimand against Mr Bugbee
