On June 24th 2022, I purchased a truck from Tyler at the Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department. I paid cash in full and drove it home(not quite). The truck started losing power slowly until it would not go any faster than 40 mph on highway and then it just shut off when I was exiting highway(only 34 miles away from Carrsville). I called Tyler immediately and suggested that the truck be towed to local mechanic shop for a diagnosis. Tyler Called Heads of Board at firehouse and called me back to say YES to tow and diagnostic. Well, I wouldn't call it agreed upon but Carrsville Volunteer FD has offered, through their attorney Riddick & Pope P.C., to pay only half of the bills. Well, I wouldn't call it agreed upon but Carrsville Volunteer FD has offered, through their attorney Ashby Pope, to pay only half of the bills. .......And now, 3 weeks later I am being ghosted by both Carrsville Volunteer FD and their representing attorney Ashby Pope?!? No responses from either.
I found Mr. Riddick to be arrogant along with being childish to the point of throwing tantrums when questioned about what he was doing. He is also a terrible procrastinator to the point of neglecting his job. Will never work with him again and will try to do my best to see no one else does either.
