Hired Attorney Barbara Lusky

Ms. Lusky was very responsive and handled a matter in a brisk and professional way. She did not attempt to drag the matter out as so many other lawyers do. I was very satisfied. Her fees were very reasonable and her advice was sound. Would use her again.

On a trust deed that Barb Lusky prepared, she inexplicably directed the county treasurer to mail my future real estate tax bills to an address I last occupied 35 years ago. Payment delays cost me $500+ in penalties. I found page after page with typographical errors in our other estate plan documents which she blamed on a computer system conversion. Are you OK with lawyers who may ask you to sign documents that have not had their prior critical proofreading for accuracy? You decide.

After months of poor representation Barb used all of my container and asked for more money. I sought new representation. She talked bad about me to my new lawyer, super classy of her.. And he has been able to do what she couldn't in a year. Worst decision if you have a difficult divorce or multiple circumstances.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
