Sam Alvine was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and has dedicated his legal career to serving communities across the state. Sam earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Dakota School of Law before beginning his practice as a prosecutor.
Sam served as a Deputy State’s Attorney in both Pennington and Minnehaha Counties, where he gained extensive courtroom experience and developed a reputation for thorough preparation, a strong commitment to justice and strong advocacy. During his time as a prosecutor, he successfully tried numerous cases before juries, consistently achieving favorable outcomes.
With a focus on criminal law, Sam now brings his prosecutorial experience and trial skills to his practice at the firm. Sam’s background provides him with a unique perspective on the criminal justice system, allowing him to advocate effectively for his clients while navigating complex legal challenges.
