John was very helpful in every way, he made you feel like you will go throughout the situation together and he sure did his best to keep his clients best interest in touch but also gave a realistic presence that not everything will be easy but he sure was able to work hard when he needed to and comfort when in time of it. Very greedy person. Money, money money none-stop. Lost about every court I had with him. Will throw your interests away to put his first.
Working with Wilka was an awful experience. I hired him for a custody case and got absolutely no where. He would never communicate with me or bother to listen to what I had to say. He appeared in court for me once and I could have done a better job myself. I asked almost every month for a statement and never ONCE received one. I tried to fire him weekly and asked for my retainer back and got completely ignored. I finally got a rough draft of a statement emailed to me stating I still had close to $2000 left on my retainer, which is bogus because he didn't do any work, but better yet, when I finally got it through to them that he was fired...they sent me a bill saying I owed them $10 but they would just take care of that!!!!!!!!!! He STOLE from me and did a TERRIBLE job.
I hired John for my personal divorce that never went to trial and he did okay. I referred a family member to John. He has not been able to arrange visitation or divorce for 2 years. Very disappointing
