At Griese Law Firm, we handle cases in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury and social security disability, in addition to advising clients on workers comp and civil litigation matters. We are dedicated to serving our Sioux Falls-area clients with compassion for their struggles and a determination to protect their rights. A native South Dakotan, Nicole J. Griese is active in her community as a volunteer and as a member of various legal organizations. She sits on the Board of Governors for South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association for 2018-2019 and is treasurer of Second Circuit Women in Law Association for 2018-2019. Before opening her own firm in spring 2018, Nicole worked at law firms in North Carolina, Minnesota and South Dakota. BEST attorney I have ever consulted with. When I got into trouble I knew I needed a good attorney and Nicole already had really good reviews; therefore, I contacted her. Nicole represented me for a 3rd DWI case, she was tremendously comforting as I was really in panic mode. I didn't need this on my record, especially as a Felony! I have a really good career and was just scared of jeopardizing all my hard work ever since I graduated from college with a bachelor of science. I was unfamiliar with South Dakota law, because I am a resident of Texas; however, she took me under her wing. The best thing about Nicole is that she treats you with respect and not just another client. She ended up getting me a suspended imposition of sentence. I never have to worry about my career being jeopardized because of a felony charge. In my opinion, the price I paid is extremely cheap for the level of professionalism she provided. In Texas expect to pay triple for an attorney of that magnitude.

I initially hired her because of her lower retainer but I was quoted incorrectly from the beginning. Throughout entire process I was not kept informed and because of that I had to keep trying to get a hold of her by making multiple phone calls. In the end she helped me get the result I wanted but I feel the lack of communication was unprofessional and resulted in unnecessary confusion and stress on my part with how the case was going and a much higher bill than it should have been.
